Where should I start.. How should I start… Hmmm…

This is a story of a 10 year High School Reunion ( no shit! ). We have Nerdward ( AGAIN ! ) and our beloved Shy Bella. Story starts on the night of the reunion. I know when you read the first page you will like… no love it. As I said to one of the authors,( sorry I didnt asked your name, I’m kind of a newbie here :) ), I can give you a 10 fucking page essay about this fic. This is a story of two High School crushes. You know what I’m talking about.. Yes.. you! *points “thefinger”*. We all had crushes. Fuck, I know I had. This is the chance you never get. ( well maybe some of you did but, thats not the point ) Live it through Edward and Bella. Watch the flashbacks from their High School years.. See *how close* they were to sharing their feelings with one another.

Normally I would tell you how the story evolves .. what goes on in their lives but no. I’m not going to do that.. You have to read it.. But know this… Through the last chapters.. This thing becomes.. the most MOTHERFUCKING AWESOME EPICNESS EVAR !

Why? Let me tell you why.. The Edward they write… is really a freaking dude… I mean a MAN ! I know I’m not making sense at the moment but bare with me.

The thing is.. in most of the fics I’ve read, there is angst and heartfail. Some shit happens, Bella leaves Edward or breaks his heart, we endure it :).. yada yada.. then they get together and BAM! Edward is all like.. it doesnt matter.. I love you.. NO BITCH ! IT DOES MATTER! What the fuck is he ? Doesn’t he have a heart ? You broke it! Fuck you ! ( oops :S )

Ehem…

You see… no matter how much Edward loves Bella.. How they are soulmates.. Half of a soul or any other bullshit.. He is heartbroken. No man in his right mind would go and say “ Oh yeah. Fuck that shit babe. I love you. It doesn’t matter anymore.”. No.Fuck.That. It always matters.You may forgive, but you never forget. ( woooooo )

In this story.. Edward does EXACTLY what a man would do. Or most of them. I’m not saying that the other stories are not *insert air quotes* “ properly characterizing Edward”. I’m just saying that THIS EDWARD was very OC as a man. I will give you just one line from the story.

"Bella, I really want to believe you, but you made me question a lot of things I thought were certain, so forgive me for being a little hesitant to take you at your word.”

BOOYAH ! He fucking RULES !

Now.. on to Bella.. And please don’t think that I’m being sexist or something. I’m not.
Now Bella is… well she is “Bella”. She has some issues about trust and giving her heart.But… again the last few chapters… WOW. Just WOW. I fucking loved how they progressed the story. The 3 lovely ladies took their time.. Spread it out.. She realizes her mistakes through the help of Renee, Charlie and Rosalie. The progress of her realization is just brilliant. She sends shitloads of e-mails and leaves tons of messages on Edward’s cell phone. You get to read most of them. And they are wonderful. I’m going to give you a little secret. When heartfail started I really got anxious. My palms were sweaty and my heart was racing. That is because I can relate myself to BOTH of them. I’m really hanging on by a thread here because I’m going to fucking explode and tell everything to you in here..

Please..just please.. go read this wonderful story written by 3 wonderful ladies..

HOLY SHIT !! Just… just read it.. come on… read it again… Can you see how fucking adorable they are? ( giddy-school girl moment.. yeah.. )

I realized the fics I recced to you are all shy and nerd Edwards… That was not on purpose. But Nerdward and Shy Bella are just too awesome to resist.

This story started as a o/s. I read it before, then forgot to add it to my list. But.. but.. after some bizarre cosmic karma shit.. I added the author on “ze twitter”. *gasp* . Yeah, that was not very dramatic is it ? Moving on..

I love o/s’s . They are fast-paced, straight to the point. This one is no exception. Nerdward sees Bella for the first time at a show and is intrigued. But at that time she has a BF called…hmm what was his name.. oh yes.. James. Story then takes you to 15 shows later where……………*theymeetforthefirsttime*

I’m gonna stop here because I probably could tell you the whole story..

What I like about this fic? Its got MIT-Nerdward.Its got our Shy Bella.Its got AWESOME MUSIC ! But the thing is the interaction between them. This Bella is kind of the same Bella we know but then again she is not. You know what Bella I’m talking about. You want to be frustrated with her but you can’t. When she talks to Edward about their “relationship” , for the first time she didn’t sounded like a whiny girl to me. I don’t know why, maybe heywoodlane did something different that I missed. But I liked it. Anyway, since “her awesomeness” has expanded this mighty fine o/s, things are just getting better and better. This is my fic recc for you ladies. I know you will enjoy this one.


Oh and for the record, “the bridge scene”… I found out that I may be a hopeless romantic… I think I just “awwww”ed. Just sayin’

Hey there !

Today I have another great fic. to rec you guys. Its "My Cowardly Lion" by laughablelamb.

Hmmm... What can I say about this fic.It was recced by the brilliant Sunking ( Thank you !! ). This fic. is beyond awesome !! Edward comes to visit Alice and to crash in her and Bella's place. The thing is... he is awfully shy... I mean... he just bolts the fuck on when he sees Bella for the first time... oh yeah! But Alice being Alice, tries to get Edward and Bella together to you know have a freaking conversation. Human Relations 101. As Edward starts to relax around Bella, thats where this story starts to become even more AWESOME ( reeks awesomeness ). The conversation they have with each other is just.. magnificent. Past stories are shared, trust is earned, but the last 4 chapters are just PURE FUCKING WIN ! I want to write all the shit they say to each other but that will just fuck it up so bad.. And I really don't want you to hate me.. Anyways.. I freaking loved this story, and it makes me fucking sad that it does not deserve the attention, review and praise it should have. So what I'm gonna do is rec. fics that are not known much. Because stories like "My Cowardly Lion" deserve so much more.

This is one of the fics I can't wait to get updated..

First Rec. "Brave" by Sunking

Hi there !

My first rec will be "Brave" by Sunking..

"Edward has suffered anxiety attacks for as long as he can remember. When new girl Bella arrives, he finds that she inspires a calm he's never known. As she helps to bring him out of his shell, he finds courage he never knew he had."

The summary says it all... You know what ? Thats a thing I don't get. In my opinion, a summary should draw you in.. You should get a feeling that you HAVE to read it. So kudos on the summary Sunking ! ( Here I am giving props like I'm some kind of a freaking fanfic. authority.. Moving on ! )

This story is beyond awesome. It's a pretty short story with 5 chapters but don't let that fool you. What I like about this fiction is in this one, Bella is really a heroine. The kind of Bella I would like to see more. Not a whiny, insecure, "I'm not good enough for him" Bella. She is patient, strong,passionate and knows what she wants.

Enter Edward.. He has anxiety attacks and is a bit different from the Edwards we know. I really don't want to give much about story and ruin your fun so I'll stop here.

What I'm going to say is, Read it, Rec. it and enjoy a brilliant story written by a brilliant author.

The whole story is in Edward's POV. But if you want to read what is going on in Bella's mind, the author blessed us with " Catch Your Fall ". All Bella POV.

Again, If that isn't enough for you ( as that was the case for me ) there is a 3rd part of the story called " Brave:Tomorrow ".

Alrighty then...

Hi there ! As you may have noticed, I'm a guy who read the Twilight Series and fell in love with it ( shocking I know )!

It all started in last summer while I was in summer school. I was bored out of my mind so I went to a DVD Store to pick up some movies to kill some time. I saw a movie called "Twilight" which I bought immidiately because there were vampires in it.hehe..
Anyways..
I watched it...then re-watched it...and re-watched because to me the movie was vague.. There were scenes I didn't understand and couldn't relate or find a connection.
Then I learned that It was a movie from a book. As I said before.. I had plenty of time to kill... I thought " What the hell? " and bought the sucker..

1 day... I read it in 1 day...( which after reading I concluded that the movie sucked ass ) I slept over it.. Went to the bookstore and bought all 3 books... Read them on 3 days... ( all of 'em ) .. Basicly my whole goddamn summer was spent on books.. Oh yes.. I read them again and again and again and again...

Being a guy that I am.. I questioned myself.. I mean WTF is wrong with me reading YA novel about a love triangle?
The thing is what shocked me the most that I enjoyed the fuck out of it. And I'm not ashamed. YA is definitely not my forte. I don't know what drew me in.. The way S.M. wrote it ? The plot ? The characters ? I still don't know.. But I freaking loved it !

Anyways.. I stumbled upon fanfic by accident. The first thing I read was "Wide Awake" by AngstGoddess. It blew my away.. I'm not gonna say that it was literary or structural or any mambo jambo because frankly I don't know shit about it.

Anyway I'm rambling.. Yeah I do that a lot..

So to sum up... I know its rare a guy to read let alone love Twilight Series.. Plus if you add Fanfiction to it.. Almost everytime I get the same reaction :" OMG ! You're a guy ? "

And frankly.. I enjoy that a lot. I like being different.I love hanging on to something that I love, even if it is rare. And I'm able to share it with other people who loves the same thing as I do.

Anyway.. I probably addres the "guy" issue later on...

O.K. This was my first blog..thingy..whatever it is called..

In this blog I will rec my favorite fictions and If they agree.. maybe I can interview a few authors.. Maybe GUYS !! who knows..
